McLean Day Closes After Day of Family Fun

St. Dunstan’s Holds Memorial Service for Founding Rector Today

Saint Dunstan’s Episcopal Church,  on Kirby  Road will hold a memorial service for its founding rector  at 1 p.m.today (Saturday).
The Rev. Grant R. Sherk, Jr.,  died April 9 at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., according to the Washington Post. He had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the Post reported.

Rev. Sherk founded St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church , 1830 Kirby Rd., in McLean in 1956 and retired as its rector in 1986, The Post said.
